10-29-15: Receive Me My Brother With Your Faithless Kiss

"With God On Our Side" is a song from Bob Dylan's third album The Times Are A Changin' from 1964. This mix features the original along with covers by Odettta and The Neville Brothers, with lyrics about The Vietnam War that Dylan added years later.

One other song repeats this week: Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Sinister Purpose" from their 1969 album Green River along with a live Irving Place recording from 1999 by Pavement.

"A Boy Is A Gun" by Tyler, The Creator and "Bound 2" by Kanye West both sample "Bound" by The Ponderosa Twins Plus One.

"I Was Made To Love Her" is a Stevie Wonder single that reached #2 on the charts in the summer of 1967. Previous mixes featured the original along with covers by Jackie Wilson with Count Basie, Charles Earland, The Jimi Hendrix Experience with Stevie on drums alongside gender-flipped versions by Fancy and Chaka Khan. This mix features similarly gender-flipped versions by Whitney Houston and Sister Sledge as well as one by The Jackson 5.

One other song repeats this week: Sylvester's disco anthem "You Make Me Feel (Might Real)" along with the epilogue version.
