Stevie Wonder's "Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer" appears on his 1971 album Where I'm Coming From, released a month before his 21st birthday. This week's mix features that version as well as covers by Joan Baez and The Waker Brothers.

The third, self-titled album by The Velvet Underground has an alternate version produced by band leader Lou Reed called the "Closet Mix". Each song from the album is the same performance under different production except for one featured in both incarnations here: "Some Kinda Love". The lyrics vary slightly in the two versions.
