His lyrics on subsequent covers have varied from his original version, stemming from added lyrics he sent to John Cale for his rendition of the song, which became the template for others.
"Love's Been Good To Me" was from a 1969 album of songs that Frank Sinatra commissioned from the popular poet Rod McKuen. This mix features versions by Nina Simone and Johnny Cash to accompany Sintara's version.
