"The Diamond Sea" is a Sonic Youth song from their 1995 album Washing Machine. This week features versions by Cuff The Duke and Yeah, Yeah Yeahs as well as the original album version.
One other song repeats this week: "Abraham, Martin and John", which was written in 1968 after the assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. Previous mixes have included versions by Paul Weller and Marvin Gaye.
