The Pleasure Seekers were an all-girl 60s garage rock band from Detroit. Three of the members were sisters, including Suzi Quatro, who later had fame as both Leather Tuscadero on the television show Happy Days and as the co-singer of the late 70s hit "Stumblin' In' with Chris Norman. This week features "What A Way To Die", the flip side to their first single from 1964, as well as covers by Shop Assistants and The Micragirls.
"Heaven" is from the 1979 album Fear Of Music by Talking Heads. This week features a live cover by Eric Burdon & The Animals as well as a cover by jazz singer Jimmy Scott to accompany the original.
One other song repeats this week: Peter Gabriel's duet with Kate Bush on "Don't Give Up", with a cover by Willie Nelson and Sinead O'Connor.
