"Everybody Plays The Fool" was a hit song by The Main Ingredient in the fall of 1972.  This week's mix features covers by The J.B.'s & Fred Wesley and The Chosen Few as well as the original.

A previous mix featured an acoustic alternate take of Bob Dylan's "Most Of The Time" from his 1989 Oh Mercy album. This week features a different alternate version he recorded as well as covers by Bettye Lavette and Roddy Hart with Gemma Hayes.

"Sag Mir Adieu" is Marlene Dietrich's German version of the jazz standard "Time On My Hands (You In My Arms)". Also featured her are versions by Jimmy Scott and Billie Holiday with Lester Young.

One other song repeats this week: ""Oklahoma, U.S.A." by The Kinks with a cover by Yo La Tengo.
