"Sin City" is originally by The Flying Burrito Brothers and is both a classic country song and a slight parody of one, where Satan is a car dealer. The various covers on this week's mix, next to the original, sound a bit more serious and haunting. They include versions by Uncle Tupelo, a rare rehearsal take by co-writer Gram Parsons with his duet partner Emmylou Harris, a solo version by her recorded shortly after Parsons' death, and a duet she did with Beck decades later.
Also repeating this week is Nico's first single "I'm Not Sayin'" which was originally written and performed by Gordon Lightfoot.
Bob Dylan is featured on here with "Billy 4" from the Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid soundtrack, an unreleased version of "Born In Time" and a cover of his "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere" by Glen Hasard and Marketa Irglova.
