On this mix from six years ago, I still had only half a dozen or so of these weekly mixes down and was just starting to move away from explicit themes. This mix seems concerned with autumn or the end of summer.
The featured song is about the end of things, perhaps romantically, in general. Bob Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" opens the mix and is covered by Hole and Van Morrison. The latter's version is heavily sampled for Beck's "Jack-Ass". Bob comes up later at the very end of the mix with his spoken word piece "Last Thoughts On Woody Guthrie".
I excitedly included two songs from the then-new Outkast album on here: the frantic "Ghetto Musick" and the joyous "Hey Ya!" Seems the latter song became fairly popular.
