This mix is bookended by two versions of Neil Young's epic "Like A Hurricane", one live bootleg and another "unplugged" MTV performance.
Other songs that repeat: Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's sweetly corny "Mr. Bojangles" gets a strangely heartfelt and sarcastic cover by Bob Dylan, the spacey George Harrison-penned "Blue Jay Way" by The Beatles is also covered by Lord Sitar, and Jimi Hendrix's "Angel" is here in a rare acoustic version as well as a live cover by The Faces.
Other stuff: The Velvet Underground's caustic "All Tomorrow's Parties", A Tribe Called Quests's celebratory "Award Tour", and the amazing "Arabic Gum" by MF Doom which basically loops the piano riff of "What A Fool Believes" by The Doobie Brothers as well as adding Michael McDonald's vocal as a slight hiccup at the very beginning and once in the middle. Trust me, it will be your feel-good song of the summer.
