This mix from six years ago begins with one of the better opening song sequences that I can remember throwing together. "Please, Tends L'oreille" by Bams is produced by RZA and will change one's mind about French female rapping. Then, early Duke Ellington with Sid Garry on vocals sining "Blue Again" followerd by the then-current Jay-Z single "99 Problems", featuring cowbell.
The Rolling Stones song "Prodigal Son" is an updated version of Robert Wilkins' "That's No Way To Get Along". Speaking of the Stones, the "Neptunes" remix of "Sympathy For The Devil" is one of three tracks produced by The Neptunes on here: the others being "Milkshake" by Kelis and "Pop Shit" by Dirt McGirt, aka Ol' Dorty Bastard, with Pharrell.
